Spinal block

I'm having knee op on the 26 July really worried about having the spinal block will they put me out if I ask plus how long is the average time off work I'm giving myself 3 months

    I also had a spinal block and general anaesthesia of some kind. I remember sitting on the edge of the table and the nurse had me put my head on her chest, which I thought was weird. The anesthesiologist was busy administering the spinal and that was the last thing I remembered. Next I woke up in recovery with no long-term or problematic effects from either. They actually had me walking later that day. Best wishes to you.

      Same here! Except its a guy nurse who had my head down on his chest.... I thought what's the heck??? I closed my eyes rather looking his you know what! Lol!!
