I am of the opinion that it was place where it was placed so that there would be a follow up procedure for additional money and charges to extend it. I also got my medical records today and the doctor has overstated the percentage of relief I am receiving.
and another question I have is why do I read so many patients posting here and elsewhere state that the trail was quite successful and relieving pain but the permanent device is not near as effective.
when you live in extreme chronic pain you will do anything for relief and to get away from the medications but I am beginning to think that something is amiss. I wonder if 100% of the patients receiving these new high frequency spinal cord stimulators were all interviewed what would they all say.
My doctor clearly placed the battery on top of the muscle group in my back knowing that I would not tolerate that location. Hey if patients ban together we should start a class action suit because I know at least my doctor did not act in my best interest specially knowing that he placed the device 3 inches closer to my spine than where it had been clearly marked.
I did take pictures of the discrepancy but have not decided on what I’m going to do next. Good luck to all of you I hope you find the relief that I know you’ve been praying for.
