Spinal Cord Stimulator Removal

Hi All,

I was just wondering if anyone has had their spinal cord stimulator removed? I have had the Nevro Senza SCS for about 4 years but am needing to get it removed in a months time. It seems to have lost effectiveness and it now causing further pain issues due to the placement of the battery. In addition to this I am in need of an MRI but am unable to due to the SCS. I have heard some horror stories about the removal and just wanted to know what it was like for others? I dont really know what to expect.
