Spinal fusion that has not worked :(

I was wondering if anyone could help. The reason i need a good doctor is that i have eight spine operations over the years, i am 34 noe first op was at 16.

The last operation i had was fusion of L4/L5 which has not fused. It is now 15 months on and i am in alot more pain than before my last op and cant walk up right most days. The only thing that helps is laying down. My thigh is also very aching/painful all the time. I have been told its probably because of the non union ie not fused together (basically the op didnt work) and the pain may also be because of the pressure is all going through one joint/area of my spine as the rest is fused. I wondered if anyone has had this problem with fusion or what has happened if your spinal fusion has not worked?? Please help as i dont know what to do about it all

.i am in constant pain and cant stand striaght. Many thanks smile

Hi Joanne. Thank you for sharing your story. I have not actually had surgery because I've heard it frequently goes wrong or problems develop later down the line so I've held off. I too can barely stand and I spend most of the day lying down. Do you know what is causing your back problems? I also have the leg pain which is often more unbearable than the back itself! Love and light x
