Spinal steroid injections for 3 years

I'm new here and so glad I have found others who can help each other. I'm 61 with a lot of joint pain. I get steroid injections 3-4 times a year for the past 3 years in my lower spine. I'm starting to have A lot of popping and cracking up and down my spine including my neck. Also the arthritis is spreading to more areas. Upper spine and neck hands, wrists, and ankles. Could the injections have damaged my good tissue in these areas? Anyone with same issues? Thanks for your response in advance. 😕

Ditto, minus steroids shots. They never improved my pain. Only stretching and exercise ,with 5% lidoderm patches worked for me. And rest periods to relieve the bone on bone pain.Try some Tai chi and very gentle yoga.If anything hurts stop that movement.

Steroid shots can damage your bones and tissues, according to my doctor at the Hospital for Special Surgery. If they do not benefit you for longterm, after one or two shots, the end.
