    Oh no!  I hope that you are in good hands.  I have a clot in my slenic vein.  What are the warning signs of a rupture?  I imagine you are in a great deal of pain!

      It ruptured after I was bleeding for two weeks every morning when pooing

      Extremely painful

      I'm lucky to be alive

      But now in constant fear

    You are indeed lucky to be alive.   My prayers go out to you.  I have had a clot since 2013 for which I take blood thinner.  Have you been put on an anti-coagulant to prevent it from happening again?

      Just painkillers x

      Haven't even had a follower up scan yet x

      Do you also have a form of pancreatitis?

    Yes, CP since 2012.  The clot in my splenic vein was actually found by accident (stupid doctors).  I have been on Warfarin (generic Coumadin) since.  It is ALL horrible.  I do have to say that the pain is slightly less, or at least different since beginning the blood thinners.  Before the clot was diagnosed, even breathing was painful.  I hope you find some relief your self.
