Split Nail Badly

Hi guys, I split my nail whilst playing football today and i'm not sure what to do about it!
Any suggestions?

Just keep it clean. You can put a plaster/band aid around it to stop the nail catching but there is little else to do. The top part of the nail will eventually fall off and the new nail grow under it. If it should throb badly and you get a swollen red toe then you may need antibiotics, but its not usually necessary.
