spot/lump on my butt crack.

Posted , 6 users are following.

I've been in a bit of pain for the last 2 days, when I notcied yesterday a spot like lump has appeared just above from my anus, along my butt crack. I've researched online and several medical sites have advised that it should dissappear after a few days but itself. But the pain is unbearable when sitting or laying and I'm really starting to worry. Anyone know how to reduce the pain. Please

    Hi Gemma,

I posted a few days ago what really helped me. I know I am not the only one as my Mum and my Sister, who got a relief from the same type of pain/ discomfort as you.We all suffer from hemorrhoids and we tried Bioptron Lamp. The pain was gone just after 3rd treatment. I used Bioptron 2 times a day (morning and evening).

I really recommend it as it's great!

I have tried different ointments and tables before but nothing really worked for me.

I also had an operation which I wish I never went through.

    I wish you good luck!

Hmm. I'm wondering if I should feel the same about mine or not. Why do you now regret your op please?

      Hi Rob,

The surgery I had was the procedure for Prolapse and Hemorrhoids (PPH). It was supposed to be less invasive and the recovery should be much faster to compare to traditional hemorrhoidectomy (which btw I thought I had that but I checked my notes from post op and it turned out to be PPH). Anyway, the recovery was very long (3 weeks off work!) and I suffered so much during the first month I could barely take it. I would be happy to get over it if it was effective but 3 months later when the swelling went down my problems came back.

When I was discharge ( I was a day case) from the hospital I have been told there is no need for a follow up appointment.  At this time I thought that was a good thing but after 3 months you can imagine how disappointed I was going through all that pain and discomfort and not being able to discuss it with my doctor!

I know it is not always the case when the surgery is not successful and for some people it works but if I was about to make the decision again I would never take the risk.

If you are thinking seriously about having a surgery and I can advise you, I think make sure your surgeon is very experience and ask him for % of successful ops he made.

My surgeon was a senior professor from Fulham Hospital but it turned out later the methods he performed on me was fairly new to him. I read a lot about happy patients and this is what encouraged me to have it done. But I didn't do my homework properly as I did not search for reviews when it did go wrong or did not work at all.

I hope this will help you and I wish you good luck!

    Hi Gemma,

    Try HemoSens capsules and gel.

It really helped me with pain and it has long term effect.

Atrogel is very good natural and pretty cheap. Don't use it on broken skin and be prepared for a warm feeling but that soon subsides and leaves a pleasant after effect. Hope that helps.
