Spot on foot had double in size over 3 years

I have a history of Melanoma, which I was diagnosed with in 2004. My original melanoma was on my face. Back in 2016 I noticed a new freckle in between my toes. My dermo said it was nothing to worry about (which was what another dermo told me with my first melanoma). Yesterday I checked my toe freckle (after a year or so - I forget its there) and was shocked to see how much it had grown. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it normal, or something I should have removed right away? SEE PHOTO...image

I had a black melanoma 22 years ago on my upper arm. Don't know how long I'd had it but it was caught "just in time" when I was in Germany. It was black, raised, hard and had a secondary on top.The main thing was a red ring at the base of it which the next day was turning darker with another red ring forming at its outer edge. Growing rapidly. No bleeding and no itching. I was checked 3 monthly, 6 monthly then yearly for a few years but never had another one anywhere. I was told it was thought that sun bathing caused it but where yours is it is unlikely to be sun damage. I did have it cut out immediately there and then under local anaesthetic.

You should have it checked, though and good luck
