I have 4 spots on the base of my penis that have been there and not changed for 10 months. I have been tested for and do not have any stds. The nurse at the clinic and my doctor don't know what they are. Ive tried e45 and hydrocortosone cream which haven't helped.

Thanks

They look like genital warts to me, but if your doctor doesn't know what they are then I'm not sure. Maybe you should be tested for HPV?

Can you get to a Specialist Sexual Health Service such as a GUM Clinic, or a city centre Walk-in Sexual Health Service to get this checked ...

I agree with the possibility of Geintal Warts, or potentially Lichen Planus - but it could be something completely different to these .... best get it checked out by the people who would know !

thats the issue ive had them checked at the sexual health clinic and the nurse didnt know what they were but she did say theyre not genital warts. I got tested for everything they test for in a uk clinic. the gum clinic said i should see the doctor and the doctor said i should see the gum clinic! so i think im out of options!

A Sexual Health Nurse is unlikely to have the specialist knowledge on this. You have 2 options:

i.) go back to the Doctor ask for a referral to a Urologist

ii.) get the number of the a local Specialist Sexual Health Service - phone and say you are being passed back and forth between one and another ... ask for an appointment with a Urologist ...
