I have been diagnosed with a herniated L5 and recently received a lumbar epidural / steroid injection to help address pain. I have since experienced some light spotting between periods. My ob/gyn said it could be connected to the steroid injection. Just curious if any other woman has experienced this.

I have heard all kinds of side effects from a steroid injection but never this one. I don't see how it can be related. The steroid (and probably some Lidocaine) went into the epidural of your spine. This has no connection to your reproduction organs.
