Sprained ankle 3 weeks ago

I've been limping on it, and I can eventually feel some pain. Once in awhile I'll feel my Achilles give a slight pain, but not much at all. I want to ask should I continue to walk on it or just rest it completely for now. Will walking with a limp ever correct itself if I continue on this path? I did physio once but I actually think I have decent mobility in my ankle up and down and left and right. Could this be a sign of something worse going on? Ankle is still swollen though but in the past 2 days the swelling below my ankle had gotten lighter and lighter. Im doing an ultra sound Monday, but it takes a week to get results ( I did xray and now fractures).

Limping is the brains way of protecting us from pain. I4 1/2 months post break and fracture still limp but remind myself not to limp and to walk straight. It's actually does not hurt as much to walk straight and small steps. But silly mind is a controlling darn thing. It still won't let me lift my heal up if the floor with out help from good foot.
