Hey fellas. I acquired a condition which consist on painful nocturnal erections while sleeping. I have to get up and walk to make my penis flaccid again; go back to bed and it repeats again. I have 5 or 6 episodes typically. I've tried low dose cialis, pelvic therapy, antidepressants to ease REM fragmentations, you name it...nothing seems to work. It's a weird medical illness. No sickle cell, no blood problems, mri of spine is normal. Can you shed some light? Thanks in advance.

Have you seen a Urologist ?

Andrologists, Urologists, Neurologists, none of them know how to treat it because is a strange illness.

A competent Urologist should at least be able to guide you on how to deal with the practicalities of what you are dealing with.

I would be looking to get different opinions from different Urologists

Did you look into Priapism? Sounds like it.

Nope! priapism doesn't disappear by walking around. You have to go to ER for draining of blood because otherwise the erection will never go down. That's not my case, grace of God fortunately. Thanks for the opinion btw.
