St.Johns wort

Hello, I have taken St. John's for three weeks and found it to be effective. I did not receive my online valium type of product and now a bit concerned about any more money going missing from my account, but I'm also doing an online meditation thing and it seems good. Not been able to be online until just lately after some time but I recommend St.John's if you are not taking anything from the GP.

It helps with the anxiety? Any side effects?

None for me, C,. I've felt a bit dizzy but think it's anxiety which for me has come back after many years. Don't like my dr so I got SJW. Three was too many , had two and now one a day at the moment.

I suffer from GAD and sensitive to meds. I took st. Johns wart and it induced a panic attack. And after doing research apparently I'm not the only one who has induced panic after taking it so if youre sensitive ask your Dr. Before taking it. Also, st. Johns wart and ssri can cause serotonin syndrome which can be fatal and this wad told to me by my psychiatrist.

As long as you dont mix ssri and st johns you shouldnt be in danger of serotonin syndrome right?

Yes. My psychologist recommended me and I'm those rare cases but he says it takes weeks but works for some ppl and it does work for some as well all have different chemistry. My psychiatrist told me you have to give it 3 week difference after using st johns to start a ssri other wise you risk serotonin syndrome.
