Stabbing abdominal pains

Hello,

Two weeks ago I was in hospital due to abdominal pain, it was very sharp and stabbing. It was on the right side of abdomen, like between ribs and appendicitis. My appendicitis was removed about ten years ago.

The night before pain started I was eating quite greasy food. So after two days I went to hospital because I feared it is related to gallbladder.

I had ultrasound of abdomen but they did not see anything wrong. Bloods were a bit elevated, but doctors said that those are very small numbers that could be even due to small cold and even deemed those completely good. Gallbladder and pancreas was ruled out. In the end they did not give definitive diagnosis what it was.

Week after that I had to have bloods taken again for different appointment and there all values were perfect, nothing elevated. I changed up my diet. Eating less, eating soups, stews. I still have some occasional pains, but definitely not that bad.

Pains that still lingers appears mostly when I change position from sitting to standing or sometimes when from lying to upright position.

Has anyone had similar experiences?
