Stabbing Pain

Has anyone had stabbing pain on their right side? This morning I had just gotten home from taking my daughter to school when I had a very sharp stabbing pain on my right side under my ribs. It was like a bolt of lightning. It happened twice. Up until now, my pain has been mostly on the left under my breast. I put ice on it and took two Advil and am waiting to see if it improves. Very painful! Help!

      One doc called it Costochondritis the other says it is pleurisy i still dont now what it realy is and it is now all over my body chest back you name it and oh yes another doc says it is axiety i dont no what to do i am so stressed

    Hi Nancy. Doc told me it was muscle pain and take painkillers. I already take loads for arthritis. Take more she said!

    Mine started as pain lower right ribs towards the back. Eventually spreading to the front. I've suffered dreadful indigestion as well, so much so I've been unable to sleep properly. I want to go back to docs as I'm worried but feel all she will say is its my arthritis or keep taking the Rennie's.

    So yes I know how it feels to feel fobbed off by the doc. If you didn't have stress before I'm sure you will by now with all the pain and worry.

    Be brave. Go back to doc.
