i had a stabedotomy on my right ear 2 weeks ago today, the dizziness has stopped but i am still bleeding from the ear, i change my cotton bud twice daily and there is fresh blood on it everytime.

I thought it was starting to slow down on Sunday but Monday gone i noticed my hearing seemed muffled and sounded like i had fluid in my ear, I took the cotton bud out and felt my ear and there was a big clump of dry blood blocking it, once removed the blood started to come through again, this seems to happen everyday now.

My doctor rang the hospital and said this can be normal, but im concerned where the blood is coming from and that if its through my eardrum then that cant be healing either.

has anyone else experienced this long in bleeding Who has had this operation , plus i still get sharp pains in my ear too
