Stage 3 chances of fertility

i had a lap back in august that found stage 3 endo basically all over my cervix, pod and bowels.

my tubes are fine but my ovaries are stuck down with the endo.

my consultant has said that the chances of an egg being able to leave my ovary is slim despite my tubes being fine. he said the option is an open hysterectomy- which i have declined at this stage.

anyone have any stories regarding fertility? i am 37 and have a 4 year old child.

    Sorry, i can't guess about fertility at your age but i have a question: what body part is a "pod" or is that auto-drives-us-crazy-but-never-corrects?

      sorry- its the pouch of douglas (i had no idea what it was until i read it on my results).
