I am stage 4, so far I have had no treatment I'm just being closely monitored by the team and been advised to lose weight

My eGFR is 19%. I have diabetes type 2. My functon has dropped since I had a sepsis infection last May.I am very worried as to what will happen in the future.

I am not able to work as I am so exhausted all the time .

    How are you doing?

hi Seggy.  I am good. It is my sister that has the kidney problems.  She had a UTI, had bloodwork, and urine test, but she was on Bactrim antibiotic when she had the tests done, her kidney numbers were terrible.  SO PCP sent her to Kidney dr. She wants a sonogram and to redo bloodwork and urinalysis.  SHe sai the Bactrim afffects kidney numbers.  I am from USA. where are you?   SHe also loses her urine if she can't get to the bathroom right away.   SHe is 81, had 32 bladder lifts.  Poor thing. Hope u r doing ok
