Staining of clothes

Hi I am back on here again not because of itching as I use Dermovate very occasionally and Hydromol Ointment but have noticed the ointment is staining my trousers so looks like I have wet myself. I only use a small amount but was wondering if anyone else has this problem. Have some panty liners in the drawer but they seem tiny any suggestions please .

    Hi holiday girl,

if your pads are too tiny, try lady tena.  Moisturiser and steroid cream are a bit messy and I find these do the trick.

    good luck!

I thought I used quite a lot of oily moisturiser, but clearly not! Myself, I'd rather use a bit less or wear double cotton panties – anything but waterproof pads (I know they're sometimes necessary) – they make such a hothouse of one's crotch.

I really slather it on at bedtime and only put more on during the day if I shower.

I wear light cotton nighties to bed and tuck the fabric between my legs, which I've been doing for a few years since I had a horrible flare where my entire inner thighs broke out. (Maybe psoriasis, maybe LS – who cares?) I still have a horror of my thighs sticking together in my sleep. I don't stain the sheets no matter how much I use.

You could save old worn-out panties and cut a double crotch piece out, then stitch that into new panties. Cooler that way. We don't want our trousers any tighter.
