Standing to finish a pee

i sit to pee but then I have to stand to finish my pee  and then I still don't empty my bladder.

Just been to see a consultant at the hospital who tells me that the T.V.T I had done ten years ago is to high and that's what's causing the problem..

the consultants answer was for me to stand and pee which is difficult for me as I am disabled and can't stand without holding on

My continence advisor told me to sit to pee whenever I could as I would be much more likely to empty my bladder therefore stay dryer longer. To be honest I don't think it makes much difference. I always start dribbling soon after going to the loo. Sometimes it is small flow that I have absolutly no way of stopping. I wear pads all the time now because of this.

    Try This:

After years of dealing with shaking urine all over the bathroom and dribbling urine staining my underwear, I finally discovered a simple way to avoid the whole problem. After urinating, I stand over the toilet and run my finger along my perineum from just above the anus to the base of the scrotum. It is kind of like "milking" the urethra. All the urine that is usually stuck in it comes right out. I wish I had know about this 10 years ago - it would have saved a lot of mess.
