I have gone through stapedectomy on 12/01/2019 in India but post surgery I am feeling ringing in my operated ear since surgery. I am also loss my hearing capacity. As my surgeon said to me in your ear I have put packing in your ear, after packing removal you will be able to gain hear and ringing will stop.
I am nervous what to do or not. Please help me to get out of this situation.

I believe it is pretty normal, I had mine 18 days ago, the first couple of days I did not hear almost anything at all but now even with a jelly inside that is going to stay there up to 5 weeks my hearing improve a lot, believe me I almost dont want to go outside it is super noisy, the streets and everything.
