    Hi all

Had my first weigh in, and it went well.

    Start weight 90kg

    01/06/09-- 88kg or 7lb.

I have lost a stone in total, and a dress size. I can get into a 16. Not all 16s are comfy, but hopefully by the beginning of July they will be. Looking to shift another 1/2 stone, which would be fantastic.

Plus my work colleagues noticed my weight loss, and that made a huge differance to my confidence. Keep going every one the compliments make the hard work worth it, and the knowledge that I am no longer a risk to my own health make the loss satifying. Although I worry about KFC as I am no longer keeping them in business

Will give it a try for a few days, most days without nuts I'm around 17g for the day. Nurse said low fat but not how low. On first weigh in I mentioned this forum and the confusion on how much fat and she said we need some to keep healthy. Anyway will see how I get on. Many thanks.

    Hi, Well done Andy!

    17/06/09 8th WI = [b:1bd87c5f13]102.45[/b:1bd87c5f13]

13 kilos lost so far! 2 Stone down, three to go!

Just to let you know, after reading the various postings about eating as low fat as poss I thought I would give it a go as I was really struggling to lose 1 kilo a week by then. My nurse also said to eat as low fat as you can.

Since Sunday 7 June I have not ate any different I have just stopped topping up my diet to 10g of fat per meal. I have found this a lot easier as I was eating more than I actually wanted to. My average fat is now between 10-15g per day. This may mean that the tablets are no longer working I dont know but I do feel that the weight is really falling off now. I have lost three kilos (6lb) in the last 12 days.

    I hope this helps.

Good luck to you all and keep going
