I acknowledge you have now increased to 150mg
But its still a positive that the 100mg has worked for 10 years.
Iv only been on Sertraline about 3 months with 100mg for 8 or 9 weeks.
Although Im not 100% yet. I have got an improvement.
I cannot answer your question,
Im sure someone will.
Its good for us new starters that you have success for 10 years.
Gives us hope to persever with Sertraline.
Good Luck to you.

do you really think that because she has been on sertraline for 10 years means that she's had success with it ? i very much doubt it .
shes probably struggled to get off it or reduce

yes I do think 10 year on Sertraline is a positive and good indication it works, if it didnt her Dr would have changed her meds before.

Hi Susan, I have been on Sert for 13 weeks now (for depression and anxiety). I have been on 150 4 weeks now and a few days after the increase my anxiety was awful and my depression worsend. When I was in week 3 I started having some better moments but still up and down. Wednesday gone was probably the best but since then my mood has been low again (past 3 days). I am still waiting for the real benefits. Everyone is different. It may not take that long for you as you have been on SERT for a long time. All the best! I hope we feel better soon!

Good Luck Susan.
I know I have an improvement . I also think its a combination of our brain chemicals and thinking positive. hard sometimes to control thoughts they just pop in especially if we are worriers.
Try and think positive, say these tablets will work. Try not to dwell on how you feel.
go for a walk, knit or any hobby you fancy. join a group.
I know how hard it is to do.
Sending you love healing and peace.
keep busy.
