Hi, i started citrolplam today, god im anxious. i feel so panicked and spaced out and dizzy. I also take amitriptyline at an evening as migraine prevention so taking citrolplam in the morning, sorry if I'm not spelling it right! - I'm so nervous that I'm gonna have had side effects.. my mouths so dry too! Took the tablet at 10am this morning & it's not 14.50.

I have such bad health anxiety this was a big step for me even taking a new medication. please be nice x

George.....don't wait on and expect the side FX then they will surely come.

You never know, you may be one of the lucky blighters that breezes through Citalopram initial start up doses with no problem at all

If you get into a bad place talk yourself down with repeating the words mentally......relaxed or calm, calm calm. Breathe into lower abdomen for 5 seconds and exhale for 5 second counts.....concentrate and try to slow it down to slow motion

Good luck man and all the best.....try some exercise through the day and a little yoga breathing at night and the key to that 'orrible upsurge in side FX or anxiety with Citalopram is not to pay much attention to it

Read through Katecogs posts on here for some better directions than I can give you
