Started medication for genital herpies. How long till symptoms start easing?

Have been in bed for 2 days the worst flu symptoms and sores on genitals. Have gone to doctors and they have prescribed the medication to help treat herpies- also they done a test but more than likely i suspect it is going to be it. 😦

just wondered how long till medication starts to kick in and i start feeling a bit better? thanks X

    same happened with me, just didn't have flu symptoms. just started the medication yesterday.

      They feel better most of the day... but still very uncomfortable.. they prescribe me valacyclovir

      they seem to me to be getting worse, i have to get in the bath to wee the pain is so bad. they prescribes me aclovir and is my second day so hopefully will start getting better.

    i recently had my first outbreak took me about 7 days to finally stop having flu symptoms and stop feeling excruciating pain
