I started taking 10mg Lexapro last Friday and my thoughts are still racing, I'm having insomnia. Are these normal side effects or do I need to increase me dose? Thanks just trying not to go crazy over here.

hi i just started 6 days ago and started on 5mg for the first week to calm the side effects down which ive had slight anxiety and depression. I think on medication you should taper on just like you do when you come of. in the past when ive started on the higher dose i always get racing thoughts and isnt nice. i think by the two weeks it should slow down
