Starting Paxil 20mg tonight Questions

I got my meds today from my GP he prescribed me Paxil 20mg. He said start off with a 1/2 for the first week then the 2week week take a whole pill at night. My question is I'm afraid I will feel weird. I read some reviews about paxil that the first week or 2 can be rough because your body is adjusting to the meds. I know all meds act different with everyone can someone just give me some reasurrance. I'm just afaid I will die.. I think I'm over thinking this and trying to have anxiety attack from it..

You are not going ro die from it.

I am on the same med i take 40mg and everything is fine side effects wise.

Yes you will feel crap the first few weeks but then you will get better. You might feel frustrated and start to feel that the med not working or making you worse but that will pass for sure and you will be mu h better.

Totally normal. And in the next few day it may or may not get more tense but it will subside. Also you might feel like depression and frustrated but that also normal.

When i started the med, i was literally thinking i took something to increase my illness rather then make me better. But i promise, it will worth going thro this you will get better
