HI deblou, yes lots of people have done it, I was like you very anxious and scared of doing it, what scares you the most about switching?

    hey deblou

you might feel dizzy or unsteady on your feet. that's normal, that scared me at first but it's completely normal.

you may have moments where you feel strange, odd, high. this will pass it's completely normal. the rest of the side effects are pretty usual to most SSRI

I have also been told that sertraline is slow acting compared to most SSRI so dont panick if it takes a while to see some change x

make sure you have something to help sleep

    drink plenty of water

eat regularly as it makes your blood sugar a bit off at first.

    hope this helps

these are just my experiences but many others have had them too by the sounds of it x

obviously the increased anxiety too is a bummer but that goes with starting all SSRI

I just recently came off of celexa, its been about 5 days now without any, and I am planning on going back on zoloft which has helped me a lot in the past. Zoloft is excellent for GAD, panic attacks, etc. It will be a little bit of a job coming off the celexa and then starting a new one but tough through it, stay busy, and try to eat healthy and exercise, take some supplements such as magnesium glycinate and NAC, they have worked very well for me to help the discontinuation of the celexa. And expect some start ups from the zoloft but they are only temporary remember that, once it starts working I think you will feel much better 😃

    Best Wishes!
