Starting today on FLU

I hope everything will get better on the flu start working. I really help myself and my family and wife. I feel deeply sad that I am upsetting people when I cant stop being a misserable, aggresive git espically when I drink it seems like my self control stops and I become a monster. I have lovely two boys nearly 2 and 3.5. I dont want to lose them and I have to stay away from my house just because I have been silly. After awfull nearly 3 years loosing businesses and trying to get back to normal I came to terms that I have to be happy as old times. I have been jobless for about 7 months which made my life and my wifes hell. BUT SUN IS SHINING AND WILL BE ALWAYS THERE EVENTOUGH YOU GET BLACK CLOUDS. I believe THERE IS ALWAYS SUN AFTER A STORM...

Regards smile

    Hi,

I have just started taking flu and know it takes a while for it to work, if you are finding it dosnt help them i would recommend going to the doctor and getting a higher dose.

It sound as though things have been tough in your life lately but you have lots of good reasons to pull it back together. My personal experience is that alchol is not a good thing when you are feeling depressed, especially if it is having such an effect on your moods and is best avoided.

I do hope that you stick with the flu and try to work things out. I wish you all the best.

    Hi emoz,

Cut yourself some slack eh? You have taken the biggest step and admitted there is a prob that needs to be dealt with. Don't hide feelings from the wife. She can help and is probably aware you are not doing too well.

I too have had a lousy couple of years work wise so to an extent I know how you feel.

BTW, alcohol is a depressant, flu is an anti-depressant so it holds that the 2 are not the best of friends...... Stick to soft drinks. Ya don't need the liquid crutch.

    We're always here to support.

    Best of luck,

    Lelly xx

I have been taking flu for almost 1 month now as i too was having problems with agression especially when I was drinking. I have found that the flu has helped me to stop feeling agressive when i am sober, which is making me feel better.

I have been for a drink twice while taking Flu and beleive me you get drunk a heck of a lot quicker and you seem to black out quite quickly too so my advice would be to stay away from alcohol all together.

Good luck to you and as i said they have been making me feel better so there is light at the end of the tunnel.
