Starting work after 14 months of being on ESA support group

On Monday I will officially be leaving the DWP as I have found a job locally. It has been a huge challenge having now worked for over 14 months. I have decided although I will not earn that much more than my award . It is more important for me to become independent of the DWP who caused me so much unnecessary stress and incredible anxiety right from the beginning. I am finding it hard working again as I also have whiplash from someone going into the back of my car three weeks ago . I have been so grateful for this site it really helped me when I was feeling desperate.

I can only wish you all the best Pollmadoll.  Anything that saves you a lot of stress and anxiety can only be good for you.  All the best  x

Thanks for your kind message. It is only when you get an insight into this insane and illogical system that you realise how unsupportive it really is.
