Stationary Bike

saw surgeon yesterday re 6 mos check up. He recommended still continuing with bike riding which I dread at gym. I thought if I just walked and did heel slides that would be enough but biking seems to be a good addition. It’s been now about a month since doing it. Question I have is should I invest in home bike so I don’t have to go to gym. I am thinking if it’s right there I might be more inspired lol maybe even more than once a day. I think I am leaning toward yes. How vital is bike riding vs heel slides? Are both absolutely necessary? I am thinking yes but just wondering what some of you might think? Thanks biggrin

Hi Robin I’m 11months tkr and still doing heel slides I also invested in  mini bike, where I can sit on a chair and pedal away. I’ve also done some hydro therapy and now onto Pilates. Everyone’s recovery is different, I do get frustrated at the time it’s taken to be free of pain. I got the bike online. Good luck.
