I am pretty sure I have statorrhea. I have had floating stool for sometime, very foul smell, often soft and as well as often light brown/ orange. There is also some kind film on toilet water surface. What causes this? (Does colon cancer cause this?) What kind of smells did your stools have ( I have had strong to light smells like acetone?) Please help I am 19.

stools is my health anxiety and normally check mine.
any colour brown is considered normal and as for consistency it can change all the time depending what you eat. check out the bristol chart for for knowledge on stools.
my stools are very rarely normal and can be mushy, thin, runny, different colour brown, lots of undigested food, anxiety will send your bowels into chaos and give you still stool changes in colour and consistancy. it can even cause pain. you are only 19, the chances of pancreatic cancer in you at 19 is next to none. yes colon cancer is affecting younger people now but still quite low. i to have the film in the toilet aswell and some stink more than others with wired smells. i only now get scared if i see blood( if its bright red i know its my piles so i dont worry then) .
do you think you have colon cancer symptoms then which symptoms are you having. ?

I had blood once and it was after a particularly painful bowel movement/ constipation. I also have a very putrid sometimes chemical type of smell, I've been eating carrots and I guess it sort of smells like that but I keep thinking it's blood. what kind of smells do you have?

we we have got to the bottom of the orange colour its carrots. carrots can sometimes show up as red to.
the smells i have are rotton eggs , a wired smell thats like bleach at times, very strong meaty smell if ive had meat or a takeaway. the worst smell for me is after i eat veg. its really putrid🤣.
your probably had a slight tear after your constipation to show blood.
was it bright red and how much blood?
