Stent

hey everyone. has anyone had a stent put in their pancreas and if so has it made a difference? once my inflammation goes down I am going in for one. they have tried twice to this point but my pancreas has been too swollen. thanks in advance...

    That was one of my first treatments but I have two ducts instead of one. It can relieve symptoms but they're temporary. Every patient is different. Mine was only in for either one month or three at the max (it was over two years ago, therefore it's hard for me to recall how long). Due to how narrow my ducts are, the stent didn't help me and my ducts still clogged up. They wouldn't continue to try them with me because too much scar tissue was building up around my ducts. I think if I only had the one duct like normal it would have worked.

    i had a stent fitted over a year ago and its made my life good again not been suffering much with pain only a bit of sickness . Were before i was on Morphine all the time . Definetly changed my life . Good luck
