Doctors recently found a bone lesion on my sternum via a bone scan. I was scheduled for a CT guided biopsy but when I got there they told me they were not going to do it. They instead decided to send me for an MRI of the chest and are sending me to an orthopedic surgeon. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I am confused as to why they are doing this. All they said was it's routine.
