Steroid injection question

Hi everyone,

I had an injection in my shoulder 7 months ago but now it's worn off and the pain is back. My question is, is it possible to get withdrawal symptoms after the injection stops working? I've googled it but can't find anything.

    My shots usually lasted about 8 weeks then the pain came back, until it was healed.
