Steroid injections

Just read in the news that steroid injections into the knee double the rate of cartilage loss!

    Yes, saw that too. I never had any injections or anything for my knee. They just told me to take painkillers, gave an exercise sheet and said come back when worse!

    ​I felt a bit miffed as I heard of others having injections etc but maybe it was just as well then. I still ended up with bone on bone joint and had knee replaced.

      It sounds as though it was just as well Cynthia or your bone on bone might have been a lot faster!
