STEROIDS - ANOTHER ARTICLE BY DOROTHY BYRNE

Hello everyone

Thought you may be interested in reading Dorothy Byrne's article on steroids in the Good Health pages of today's Daily Mail - someone who so shares our sentiments through her own personal experience with PMR and steroids. That's two weeks running now that the Mail has contained articles on PMR - well overdue publicity and let's hope for more of it! :D

Glorious sunshine here today and do hope everyone is getting a share of it! 8)

Have a good day everyone.

Pauline - we seem to have lots in common, shame about the PMR

When I wrote the post I actually said \"put salt on them\" - then realised only Scots would recognise the phrase (you put salt on the oats, rather than on porridge!).

My problem with eating out is that unless I am very careful when we are on holiday I end up with feet like footballs as the fluid accumulates with the salty food! Of course it may be that it was part of the PMR as that is definitely something I can judge if it is being a pest - puffy feet and hands. I too lost any craving for anything sweet with the steroids but it became less obvious as the dose came down. Chocolate is 87% cocoa solids for preference - nothing sweet about that!
