Have noticed recently that I am getting stuff fingers and shooting pains in fingers hands and wrists.

Trying to figure out if it is part of my fibromyalgia or could be something else.

Just wondered if anyone else has this problem

I suffer from this one of my main complaints gets the point I can not use my hands. Apparently is a symptom. Have you got swelling or just pain? My hands completely swallon. Fibro is apparently widespread pain so no doubt they will also pin it down to fibro! If you think it could be something else worth getting it checked out.

we do have to be very careful not to blame every issue we have onto fibro, the doctors do that to avoid the time and effort to investigate that it may be something else.  This type of pain or swelling sounds very much like either arthritis of some sort - due probably to 'wear and tear' or some kind of RSI - please dont just assume it's fibro, do ask your doctor to look at it with an open mind.  Fibro tends to get the blame for everything from ingrowing toenails to chickenpox and it often isn't anything to do with fibro at all.

See your dr for test and accessment so for what you have described. It could be a simple blood test showing arthritis to RA.

then ance a clear diagnosis is Mande treatment can be taken into account what is best for you.
