Stiffness will decease over time imperceptibly. By your one-tear anniversary it will be a minor annoyance if not totally gone.  Docs say it can last to some degree 12-18 months.  I'm over 2 years and still get a bit from time to time if I don't stay active.

Consider asking you doc to add a muscle relaxer like Flexeril.  I used that plus Percocet at the beginning.  Tailed the Percocet off first, then the Flexeril a month later.  Remember that two months is still very early in a year-long recovery.  The knee takes a long time to heal.

I am only 4 weeks out and the swelling and stiffness is a constant problem. I have had restless legs for years in this leg. Is that what you mean by spasms? I had tkr on my other leg in 2011 and all stiffness was gone by 3 months. Praying you improve soon. The stiffness is the worst.
