Stiffness in knee

Can anyone tell me how long it took them for the stiffness in their knee to go away. I am 14 weeks in and the stiffness does not go away especially when I get up during the night and in the morning. Also after exercising and icing.

Hi Jeanne, I am 12 weeks and have same problem, my knee gets stiff too, during night or after sitting I expect it but like you after walking or using the static bike. It is getting to stage I am very frustrated. I too am finished with physio, I only gor 6 sessions so finished about 5 weeks ago and I am just continuing with exercises etc myself. My thigh where new joint is attatched also gets tight and achey. I can only walk about 3/4 mile too without starting to get stiff. I thought I would be able to have increased this. At the moment I feel I am at a standstill and suppoed to be going back to work next week!

Thank God I am retired. Don't think I could face going back to work. I am nowhere near ready to lead a normal life yet . Good luck to you and hope everything goes well.
