Stiffness in Neck and Back of Head, Dizziness, Fatigue.

My wife passed away of brain cancer in February. I'm a 35 year old male with no past health problems.
Two weeks after her passing, I started feeling all this tension in my neck and back of my head. I don't really get headaches. I do get tingles on my scalp and random parts of my body. I feel dizzy sometimes, and feel like I'm on a rocking boat.
I've been to the ER, and to a GP. They both claim stress and anxiety. I've been getting deep tissue massages, and they seem to help. I haven't had one in two weeks, and everything is coming back. Has anyone had an experience where these problems manifested from a traumatic experience? I'm just scared it's a brain tumor, and the Drs. are shaking it off.

Yep sounds exactly like Anxiety. I'm sorry for your loss. I've had the same head aches head pains, chest pains, you name it. Dizziness is definitely the biggest one I've felt. It's all Anxiety and please for the love of God don't look up any of your symptoms. You'll see everything crazy and only make the anxiety worse. Best of luck to you

I've been off and on the google train of dread. Has there been anything that has helped you? I try meditation, and massages. I got some drugs from the Dr., but they just knock me out.

I'd try to stay as far away from drugs as possible, withdrawal from them just isn't worth it. Try to find a new hobby and most importantly just stay away from google. Google will never make anything better, you'll spend all your time looking for an answer you won't find. Just settle with the fact that it is Anxiety. Do everything you can to keep your mind of it, go start a hobby, find somewhere to explore, start watching a new TV series, really anything. Trust me it will go away and you will be fine with no permanent damage done

I too have tension/stress headaches or pressure. It feels like someone out a very tight headband on your head and keeps squeezing and then letting go. Sometimes can make you dizzy/nauesous
