    Hi Marsh

First of all I am no longer sure what is normal for recovery from rotar cuff surgery. I think it is dependant on lots of factors.

At 8 weeks i had only had my sling off for two weeks and I was only doing arm lifting lying down supported by my other arm. I thought I had either retorn my repair or something was badly wrong as I expected to be further on than I was. I was reassured by my physio who I realise several weeks on is quite brilliant and consider myself lucky to have her.

I think you will find PT will move you on so I would not worry at this point until you have had a discussion with your PT.

Someone else might be able to advise you better.

Physio says it takes time. Today she had to help me while using a bar.to stretch

out arm while laying down. Guess I am expecting too much, been reading that recovery dependant

on many factors. Nothing is gospel except time to heal. Only started therapy on 12/23 after being in sling from 11/15 to 12/14

      Thanks for encouraging message.
