Hey Jilly. Me too, every couple of days I just feel really low for no reason as everything going well. Also I tire very easily ie just a short walk or hoover the flat which isn't big and I just collapse in the chair.

I did read that this happens before I had op so think we are both normal lol

Thanks Sandra - sorry you feel this way too, but reassuring to know not just me. Take it easy with the hoovering? Think might be bit heavy this early on? Take care. Xx

Jillypops yes sorry but feeling tearful is normal I'm 10 weeks and I sometimes feel l shattered both physically and mentally. We have had major surgery our bodies are healing, which takes a lot

Thankyou - it helps knowing it is to be expected. Am hoping to be back at work before am 10 weeks. Lots of early nights and tissues at the ready it is then. Xx

Totally normal, the recovery is hard both physically and mentally.  Most of us seem to get tearful, despondent  and depressed as things progress so slowly, and as we seem to slip backwards from time to time as well.  The tiredness is caused by your body using your calories to help in the repair process.  It all takes so much longer than we think it should, but that is normal.

Thankyou - glad not only one - you're right, we have all gone through a lot. I'm usually fit and active so guess bit frustrated. 😊

Yes it is. The tears and tiredness seem to hover for a while. Just go with it and pamper yourself, it will go

Thanks Maggie - nice to have an excuse to pamper oneself! 😀

So far for me I'm the same way. Depressed big time! I cant go to work with the guys leaving out my window every day. My house is my shop for the company. I feel totally down on my self as I need help with everything! Also at 2.5 weeks, I am set back from doing to much to soon. And that has me absolutely miserable! I hate trying to plan my trips from bed, to toilet, shower and sink, in the shortest path possible!

Hang in there with us all. And stay on the site. It has really helped me pass the time.

Must be really hard for you Chuck - seeing worklife going on around you - i guess like others have said, we should look after ourselves as we have had big trauma to our bodies and it won't be like this forever - better for us in long run too. Hope all goes well for you. 😊

Me too, even after 12 weeks, although not as often, but definitely have down 😢 days for no reason.  Keep on this site, it has helped me, you end up feeling like everyone on here is a friend - especially in the middle of the night
