I am four weeks post op. My limo is very pronounced. I can and do walk with no stick indoors but I look like the bloody penguin. Any tips ? Thank you all. These forums have kept me sane.

I saw my surgeon at (6) weeks and he told me to look in a mirror and say "heel, toe" over and over as I walked. Limp is generally gone now at (3) months unless I am tired or just wake up. My problem is that I still have pain when I put all my weight on that leg. It is transient but reminds me I am not quite whole.

I'm 55. Had THR on left hip. Side approach. Been doing exercises religiously. But have only just got onto one crutch and have tried without this around house but walk terribly. I think you are doing well.
