Still not going away....

It has been 3 months now with this horrible rash! Ive gotten three different diagnosis from 3 different doctors.. First it was nummular ezcema, then PR and now most recently this last doctor thinks it may be Guttate Psoriasis.. Ive tried different steriod creams, an oral steriod, UV treatments, head and shoulders shampoo as a body wash. (Shampoo made it worse) but UV treatments seemed to help a lot. My rash is much better than it was in the beginning but I cant seem to get rid of these last few stubborn spots on my lower legs. The spots are a few weeks old now.. they seemed to start going away with the oral steriod and UV treatment. Soon after i stopped the steriod the spots became red again and wont heal! Has this happened to anyone else?? Any suggestions? I am seeing a new dermatologist this week.. Hopefully I will get some answers!

I found that everything the doctors recended did not work. What did was this, wash only in cold water hit water makes the rash much worse! Zinc tablets help but the best thing of all is tea tree cream. The best  is Thursday plantation available from boots chemist.

Hi Chris, I've been using tea tree cream for a few days now and I was wondering how long wil it take before I see improvements? I'm a week and a half into PR now. So much stress!!

I only found tea tree cream by accident after I had had the rash for three months. I was awake every night scratching. After using the tea tree cream I found the itching stopped and the rash decreased every day. I understand that the rash normally lasts about three months so if you have not had it long you probably will be stuck with it for about this period. Try also zinc tablets they seemed to help me.
