Hi every one my son has just had he's 3 rd inflixihab infusion 3 days ago but for the last 2 nights he's been getting night Sweats does any one else get them after having it ??also last week he started to get pain again we was thinking it would get better after the next infusion but he's hardly eating anything has it causes him more pain. And still in pain now the doc has ask him to take aza to take with the inflixihab so he's body doesn't reject it but he's read through the side affects and said he does not want to take it But it looks like he might have to try it has I think there running out of options does any one take they together?? He's also taking Ascol 2 tablets 3 times A day however the doctor has said he. Can stop taking them if he wants ? Because he's crohns is in he's small bowel and there normally to treat colitis ? He has a stricture don't know if it's still the stricture causing pain or can you get pain from inflammation?? and if he's hardly eating any thing how does the bowel keep getting inflammed ?? Any comments would be greatful

My body rejected infliximab. I developed and infection in the the terminal ilium. They could feel it. But also I was bringing up black powder, which meant I was bleeding. I was very sick. But I was given 3 rounds of infliximab a year before and stopped, and so my body had developed antibodies and they tried to put me back on it just didn't work.

I have a friend who is doing well on infliximab and aza, but he has said it's better for him to take aza in the evening, as it did cause him issues in the day.

Get in contact with the Doctor. If you feel his symptoms are worse.
