Still painful?

Hi Everyone,

So I'm a woman in her late 50's who has been experiencing pain for a long time . After many, many times to my doctor and many prescriptions I finally went to a gyno and he found a bartholin cyst the size of a baseball.. a bit bigger. That was almost 5 weeks ago .

I had it drained in office per the norm and the cath. (which was so painful!)

My problem is that we tried to resume our sexual activity and I'm still very uncomfortable with burning .

So I guess my question is this: How long did it take everyone to get back to normal of sexual activity with out pain?
