Still seeing hemmorhoids after surgery?

Hello everyone, I am on day 9 after my hemmorhoidectomy and thankfully, it seems the recovery is becoming less traumatic.

I recently had a bowel movement (I've been having them repeatedly for the past few days), and felt very sharp pain as I did so. Upon looking in the mirror a day later, I noticed two hemmorhoids popping out. For reference, I had an internal and two externals, plus a skin tag before the surgery. They're nowhere near as large as they were pre surgery but they're still there!

The skin tag is gone, but I'm still seeing some hemmorhoids. Is this just post bowel movement swelling? I guess I thought after the surgery, I would never see them again but now I'm worried the issue hasn't been resolved. It's still early into my recovery, but the thought of having to do anything like this again would literally put me into a panic.

Have you all still noticed hemmorhoids during recovery and they eventually subsided?

This was the same with me... took about 4-6 weeks to finally start shrinking. I did sitz baths with hot water and heat compresses as this really helped me with the inflammation. Some of the tissue can still look and feel like a roid' for almost 2 months as in my case. Then all of the sudden it just shrank up and looks normal.
