Still waiting for test results

My husband had neuclear medicine tests on his heart over 2 months ago and we have heard nothing yet.  I have left messages with the consultants secretary to no avail.  We are hoping that no news is good news however he is in a lot a pain and we just need to know what happens now.  Really getting worried now.  A family member had her results back in just over a month but everything was ok with her.  Help?

    Hello,

    i think your port of call must be to your GP as they get copies of the results of tests that you have. If they have not heard either, they may feel that they can put in a query call for you while you are there which should at least answer your question as to what is going on.

    Plerase pursue with vigor with your GP. The report should be at the surgery by now. If hubby continues to hav e badpain then get him to A & E if in doubt. I'm glad I did while awaiting appointment for a consultation with Cardiologist and eventually it saved my life.
